"True Blood" Possible Spoilers

Paradon

So, we know vampires, werewolves, werepanthers, shape-shifters, fairies, Mainyde, and witches exist in the True-Blood-Universe, but who created all these supernatural beings, or how did they come to being?

They said: fairies are the oldest conscious life form and they are from another realm, so do you think they've created humans along with other supernatural beings. One of the names for fairies is alien!

This thread might be in the wrong forum....but I'll give a Trek answer, just in case.

The Old Ones.

Moved. The General Star Trek Forum is for discussions about... you guessed it... Star Trek. The last time I checked True Blood had nothing to do with Trek so this really needs to be in the SciFi/Fantasy forum.

I'm pretty sure they never really got into the origins of the supernatural races in the books. That doesn't mean they won't in the show, but I find it kind of unlikely, it seems to me that they pretty much are just there without any kind of explanation really being necessary.

The existence of Maenads awaiting the return of Dionysus implies the existence of the Protogenoi, Titans, and Olympians. However, it doesn't necessarily exclude the existence of the gods of other ancient religions.
