True Blood, Man, That's Some Tasty Vamping...

Watching it now for the first time. I blazed through season one and am now hitting season two. Wow, this show is GOOD.

Vampire Diaries absolutely sucked, IMO, but for good vamping and you aren't up for another run through Buffy just yet, this is the goods.

Went through the first three seasons fairly fast, season 4 doesn't air here for a while.

I love this show. It's ridiculous. I thought each season was pretty good, although seasons 2 and 3 dragged in parts (especially 3.) Season 4 felt much more tightly plotted, once they got some dangling threads out of the way early on. Looking forward to season 5!

I sampled it by trying out the first season and the first half of season 2 but I found it stupid and campy. I could care less about Sookie and Bill. All it is good for is the gratuitous soft porn and skinshots.

I enjoy The Vampire Diaries more--the characters are only so-so and I could care less about the romance in the show but the writers do a great job in telling a tight fully serialized entertaining plotlines
