Speaking of neuropressure, I didn't forget about the "when does T'Pol tell Trip about her annulment" plot bunny-thingy. I am working away on that fic, but don't know when I'll be done with it. I will be gone for 2 days visiting my lil bro @ Ft. Stewart before he gets redeployed to Iraq.
But I will keep you all abreast (....
) as to my progresson with that!

I love the way Trip and T'Pol speak during that VNP scene. It shows how much their relationship had grown and how comfortable they were around each other. And if I'm not mistaken, there's a moment where Trip just looks at her... I just really like that part. The rest I find really funny.

You know something occurred to me tonight: Vulcans are touch-psychics/empaths right? What if Trip's feelings "rubbed off" on T'Pol over the course of their sessions and that's one of the reasons she grew infatuated/in love with him? (minus that panaar and trellium-d crap)

By the time of Similitude, Trip was head over heels for her, and it seems likely that she would be feeling almost as strongly drawn to him as he was to her. So the wild passionate sex was (in my mind) the culmination of all those pent-up feelings, and not just some reaction to the aberration that is Amanda Cole. 'Course in my mind that's the happy-fuzzy way things are, and not the badly written way we saw things play out.
Hopeful Romantic thanks for posting those wonderful pictures of TnT. Pensive I agree with you it took alot of time for their friendship to grow into a romantic relationship the feelings were with Trip & T'Pol spending so time working together on duty and off it was bound to happen as T'Pol tells Phlox neroupressure is an intimate thing for a Vulcan T'Pol being a touch telepath and having deep feelings for Trip a Bond started to grow. Trip's feelings must have come through when she touched him during their sessions. For T'Pol must have come through sometime during their conversations.And sometimes must have been overwhelming for her to feel that he had really deep feelings for her.They both became depend on each during their time in the expanse.
This is an idea I was wrestling with in my fic-writing: what the heck happened between Daedalus and Babel one for TnT to go south? Was it just that she was turning so much to the Kir'Shara that she left Trip by the wayside? I was thinking maybe Trip enjoyed being an outlet for her, until the damn artifact came along and showed her how to be truly "Vulcan." She starts meditating different...or maybe learning how to stifle her emotions better, so she gradually shuts him out

My possibly naive point of view (having just recapped ENT S4) if that T and Tpol were on the fast track to getting back together. After the kiss at the end of Bound ("We gotta lot of work to do"), and the reconciliation through mourning the loss of Elizabeth in Demons and Terra Prime.
All one has to do is take TATV with a shaker of salt. "History" in TATV reflects they didn't continue their relationship. But who really knows. After all, if S5 happened they couldn't have done it without Trip. TGTMD suggests Trip had to go into hiding... for the rest of his life? I'm pleasantly confident in my belief that they ended up together in Life After Canon.
