Very nice pictures, everyone. I think this is the first time I've seen the one with the white shirt.

And thanks for the links in the previous thread for those Creation clips with CT and DK. There were some funny moments there -- including when the interviewer mistakenly called the most recent ENT novel something like The Things That Men Do.

Nice pics, but I gotta say the Trip pics are my faves. Connor is a good looking guy but a little too smooth and polished for my taste.

I'll take a humble fella with some engine grease under his nails any day.

Good point, but even then it's the stylish 5 o'clock shadow. Maybe it's the shirts? The hat? The occasional glasses? I can't put my finger on it, but most of the time he looks like the guys from Queer Eye dressed and prepped him. The whole loafers without socks look with a retro twist. Vintage shops, a willingness to wear the occasional man-ring, a rainbow assortment of jeans, hats that don't have sports logos on them...

We have seen Trip snazzy as well though: who could forget the Don Johnson suit or tropical "get noticed" getup. Not my cuppa either.

I preferred the Northstar cowboy gear, plain exercise shirt, the (yes) blue jumper, and was strangly turned on by seeing him in the Vulcan outfit. Can't really explain that one to myself yet...must be the robes.

Connor told this funny story at Shore Leave 2006:

He and Ariana had gone out to dinner with two other couples, (one couple were friends, they hadn't met the other couple before). They got talking about reality shows -- which CT hates -- and he went off about The Apprentice being contrived, citing a particular episode in which the team was supposed to get a singer to Madison Square Garden and they "lost her." He said it wasn't credible that they would have no way of all of locating her -- cellphone, agent's phone number, mom's phone, etc... When he's done, his friend tells him the other couple are the producers of The Apprentice. Ariana starts kicking him under the table. They saw the couple again another time at a party, they wouldn't even look at him!

Re: Trip in Vulcan robes -- There's just something about those Asian-influenced robes that looks very regal on Trip.

Nothing at all. I have quite a few friends who are quite stylish...though more of the preppy/college look than the vintage scene. Personally, I'm a fashion klutz. Maybe that's why I go for the flannel shirt types.

Or maybe it harkens back to when I first saw Marlon Brando in "A Streetcar Named Desire." Hmmmm....Connor all beefed up in a wifebeater as Stanley. Or sweatin' bullets on a hot, sultry, Southern night as Ben Quick.

Scruffy or clean shaven he is too much. He is one of those men that has presence. You can't take your eyes of him.

Hey, everybody! I haven't visited you all in forever - sorry about that I'm a total slacker. I might go down to Orlando to see Connor in November, but I don't know if I can afford it. I finally got to go to DragonCon (which was AWESOME!), and I spent WAY too much money.

I think I heard that Connor's going to appear in a new episode of Atlantis - can you all get me up to speed on that?

The story is a huge secret but this is the episode where Carson Beckett is resurrected. And Michael is involved. Somebody said they they got done with the first reading of the second part, there wasn't a dry eye in the room! Gateworld
