TRIP/MICHAEL/CONNOR: You're All We Think About

Well, I'm about to watch The Kindred for the second time tonight. Is anyone else here as thrilled as I am that each time we see Michael as a wraith he appears more human than the last? I so love that he is the one in Teyla's visions! And what he says to Teyla about the baby ... he has plans for it. I figured there was a reason the baby was able to help Teyla control the hive queen in "Spoils of War." It doesn't just have a wraith gene. It's half Michael. Connor has got to be absolutely thrilled with where they're taking his character.

If SciFi continues the practice so far this season, you should be able to catch it next Friday at 9 p.m. EST.

ETA: Just checked the SciFi schedule: Yup, 9 p.m. EST Friday, Feb. 29.

It was pretty interesting. I always wished that the writers had had the characters notice that each time they give Michael the retrovirus and he reverts to wraith, he retains human characteristics and retains his memory of his experiences as a human. They could have considered exploiting that by hunting him down to treat him again and again... until eventually, he would lose his need to feed on humans and perhaps even remember who/what he was (there was some suggestion in "Misbegotten" that he retained or reclaimed his wraith memories long before he reverted physically, and yet no one ever made note or use of it.
 
I won't post spoilers but I really enjoyed The Kindred and can't wait to see what happens next.Jinx thanks for posting your Connor pictures I'm so glad you had the pictures .I was looking for.

Maybe I am the only one disappointed in his part for this episode. Did they film every one of his scenes with him standing in the same spot? He never got to be very dynamic that episode. :vulcan:
 
Patience! He's still has TWO episodes to go! Kindred 1 is the setup. Friday we get the payoff (and Teyla must be reeeeallly close to delivery, or he wouldn't have been bothered capturing her now).
 
Yup. Ever since they created Michael he has closed the season and opened the next. I like the way they think!
 
For those who think my av looks even prettier... it is. It's now 131x140! The rules have changed: 140x140 pixels are now allowed (possible increase in file sizes being discussed).
 
Well, I think Connor is a pretty good bet for their ratings to go up a little---and sadly, I think Michael is more interesting than some of the regular cast.

Is it Friday yet?
