I love Barclay, one of the best characters to cross over shows. I just wish he got a chance on DS9. We need more Barclay!

Barclay on DS9 would have been epic! I love Barclay when most of the TNG are so high and mighty he's the awkward guy I can identify with.

I could always relate to Barclay. That scene where he's telling Geordi about his anxiety was right on the money.

Yeah, I really love the scene where he explains how at a party he's the one standing next to a potted plant pretending to be too interested in every detail of the plant's leaves to socialize.

Imagine Barclay trying to explain a repair to Rom. between the 2 of them, O'Brien would never stop rolling his eyes.

but yes, Barclay gave a lot of people a very relatable character.

Even if they're dysfunctional socially, Barclay and Rom are both good enough engineers that they'd eventually just start pointing at what they wanted to do and get the job done, well enough to impress O'Brien, or even Geordi.

Barclay´s persistence is admirable. He´s lacking in clarity but he makes up for it with determination. Project Pathfinder was a success thanks to him.
