You know, I was a little disappointed that the remastered versions didn't include the spliced footage of the DS9 characters in the episode. (And, yes, I know, they didn't have perfect matches for every shot, but it would have been an amusing in-joke from my perspective.)

That would be an interesting editing project - just swap out the appropriate shots from TnT into TTWT, leaving TTWT otherwise intact.

I thought it was a great episode, worthy of the original. But I also liked the Voyager tribute episode to TOS.

I like it a lot. It's not very serious, but who cares? A nice, colorful, lightweight time travel story. And I thought the mixture of new and old footage was quite well done on the limited time and budget of a TV series.

To what end? It's driven by plot, not the desire to spend lots of money on SPFX and the clearances from dead actors', directors' and writers' estates.
