The message says it's been suspended for exceeding it's bandwidth...I've never seen that site do that before...

No T, bandwidth is bandwidth and Wordpress does use a mysql DB and to boot he does store the videos on his site also that eats bandwidth. the hundreds of videos i host for all my sites i keep on my seperate scifitube.com host, i get 3000 gig a month for only 7 bucks a month, so i use that host just for videos. Perhaps anthony should do something similar for trekmovie.com
That is interesting. I've just been using blogger. We've never gotten the traffic level of trekmovie (although we were averaging 4000 hits a day with the Picardo interview for about 3 days).
Would I ever have a similar problem if my site got as huge, if I'm on blogger?

it depends on what your host is offering you. Recently I got a silver account on Canaca.net for 8 bucks a months it offers 5200 gig month!!, 1500 gig disk space and up to 100 additional domains you can use with it.Also the Mysql speed is much mush faster than the host i mentioned above. if you want to see a site and forum on canaca.net visit www.galacticastation.com they have had it for a while and it has been ok for them.

edit: oh i see you are talking about blogspot.com for your trekdom site, trekmovie.com and most other trek sites have staight up hosting packages.
