Trekker's First Rule of Judging People Instantly by Apperance

The headrests are not in the same place. The seat could just be higher. It's just not the same.

Well, I try not to judge by appearances, but I work at a grocery store and I can instantly tell which people are coming in to buy cigarettes and alcohol and which people will be paying with food stamps as well (awful lot of overlap there.)

ANYONE sporting a popped collar. No ifs, no buts.

Yeah, but what about four popped collars?

I don't even know how a fad of multiple popped-collar shirts gets started. Was someone without a proper winter jacket dressing up in multiple layers to go out in the snow in Vermont and just looked in the mirror and said "damn, this looks good"?

Rule 3. If you're under 50 and own a BMW, there's about a 90% chance that you are a douchebag. If it's a motorcycle, this rule does not apply to you.

I wouldn't quantify that as a fauxhawk, or at-least not a severe enough one for my "rule" to apply. You are safe. ;)

Big one for me is -- no matter how talented you may be or what your particular skills are, if you wear pants that are sagging down around your knees... Forget it. I'm not impressed.

(Sorry -- just a gross, disgusting trend that needs to END. At least on guys. *gross*)

Cheers,
-CM-

Edit to Add: Also (and this one probably sounds REALLY silly) -- if I walk up to you at your desk at work, and it's a complete and utter shatstorm... Instant down-check.

Bah, people with tidy work and living spaces are just people who are too lazy to look for things ;) (admitted messy person)

The kids here in Taiwan have taken to wearing hor-rimmed glasses ( like Drew Carrey, Barry Goldwater or Arthur Jones wear/wore) but with NO LENSES in them!!!
Is this happenbing anywhere else?

If people will wear glasses with full shutters, then no lenses at all seems a mild enough step. :D

And I for one welcome faux-hawk! I think it looks so cheeky and sweet. Love it. Probably not a good idea of you're middle-aged though, then you will definitely look like a "douchebag"! :p
