Trekker's First Rule of Judging People Instantly by Apperance

I friend of mine used to do his hair in the faux hawk. I forgave him for this because he is probably the least full of himself person I know, and it worked out for him with the ladies. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen, but he would get all kinds of "tail" with this hair cut. If we went to the bar and he had his faux hawk, women would be coming up to him all night. I swear to god it never failed. He never had to hit on anyone because they'd always come to him.

The strange part was that anytime he'd go out with out doing his hair like douche, women would never hit on him. He's a decent looking guy, but there was something about that hair that was a chick magnet.

What say you?

I have nothing to say . . .

But I was absolutely rolling on the floor in stitches!! :guffaw: Priceless!

If your hair is put into a "faux-hawk" you're a douchebag. I've never met someone who had their hair in a fauxhawk who wasn't a big, in love with himself, DB.

Agree/Disagree?

What's a "faux-hawk"?

It's basically when you gel your hair towards the middle of your head to create a mohawk look, but you don't actually shave the rest of your head around it.

I think in Europe it's just a normal haircut. That and mullets. Or a combination of the two. You can always tell the foreigners staying in my hotel because of those haircuts.

It is the manditory haircut for boys under age 10 :D

I do it, I admit, but my "rules" are based on personal experience. No "rule" is put into action without persistent, predictable, history behind it.

Agree completely, just because they weren't ballsy enough to get a real Mohawk.

I can kinda see where you're coming from, since a lot of douches do have one...but not many enough to count as a rule. Disagree, sorry.
When I see someone driving a PT cruiser I automatically assume they're a douchebag until it's proven otherwise.
Old guys with pony tails who drive around in a Porsche with a girlfriend 20 years younger than they.
I'm actually more inclined to agree with these  Also about the Porsche one, have you ever seen anyone under 40 drive one? Usually they're old men driving them, and many of them can be beaten by much cheaper cars!

There's a guy down the street from me, in his 20's, who owns an old 1980's era Porsche. He's not a douche. He just wanted to get a performance car on the cheap.

I'll pretty much agree. The notion is further expounded when they hop out of a tiny little car like a Miata or a Pontiac Solstice, and walk around with a Bluetooth in their ear and say things like "Hey brah."
Don't diss the Solstice, I'd get the Opel GT (Euro version of it and the Sky, though really more like the Sky) if I just wasn't so damned tall. You have my permission on the Miata though

Now that is a totally acceptable case. Anyone who's motoring enthusiast enough to buy an older performance car and keep that in good shape has my respect. There's a guy who's a neighbor of my parents that has a 90s BMW M3 convertible, absolutely gorgeous machine and he keeps it in top trim, he bought it used a few years ago.

I just don't like the prats, especially old prats, who buy a new Porsche or other performance cars and then just drive around town with it, never truly using it, just showing of their money. And those tend to be old guys.

My uncle has a 80s era Porsche as well, but he is exempt from the old guy rule since he bought it used and his other vehicle is the totally kickass 90s Jeep Cherokee that I love lending from him because of the RWD

I don't trust people, wearing suit's. I always asume there up to something crooked or corupt. Unless they have long hair or something, which then makes them look like there proably just hillbillies, going to a wedding.
