TrekBBS Fantasy Baseball League!

I would have won home runs, too, if I had Ryan Ludwick instead of Ken Griffey Jr. in the last two days. D'oh!

I'm looking for some pop at first base in the ESPN league. Todd Helton just isn't hacking it so far this year, so I'd like to make a change. I have a handful of good outfielders that I would be willing to exchange including Vlad Guerrero, Ludwick, Quentin, Victorino, Carlos Gomez, Willy Taveras and Aaron Rowand - make me an offer...

Since you traded me Lance Berkman, I have two good 1st basemen (Justin Morneau is the other). I really don't need any outfielders though. I could use a decent RP: I don't suppose you'd be willing to give me Lyon for Morneau?

That's a tough one Peg. If I trade Lyon, I will only have one closer left...

Who would you use for Util after trading Morneau? Maybe Vladdy Guerrero would look good in that spot?;)

As a matter of fact, I see you don't have a 2B right now. Interested in either Hill or Polanco....?

The Utility spot is easy to fill and I was only temporarily without a 2B. I almost offered you Morneau for Polanco, but after thinking about it, I decided against that.

Nah. You already got Brandon Webb from me. I won't give up my token Twin without getting someone who's worth more.:)

You traded Brandon Webb? What did you get in return?

Before the season started in the ESPN keeper league, I traded him Brandon Webb for 1B Lance Berkman and San Diego pitcher Chris Young (who's now out with a broken nose). It made sense at the time and I'm happy with what I got, but I probably could have gotten the same for C.C. Sabathia.

Lol, yeah, I got off to a slow start. Lot of frustrating losses by a point here, a point there, adds up. I wouldn't count me out just yet, though, my team is better than that.

You're team's killing mine right now. My team's a bit beat up, but even my healthy players are struggling this week.

Well, that sure was a short stay atop the NL Yahoo board. Injuries hurt me last week, but so did some stupid moves on my part. I didn't pay close enough attention last week (went golfing 6 days straight), but this week I'm planning a come-back.

On the plus side, I'm back to .500 in the ESPN league.

If I were you, I would dump Gagne to free up a DL spot. ;)

Does anyone know who A.F.Z. is here? He has five people on the DL, three of whom are on his active roster. This is particularly problematic (for him) because two of them are pitchers, meaning he might not make the 24 inning minimum (he barely made it this past week).

I think it's little unfair because whenever one team doesn't make the minimum 24 innings, the opponent automatically wins the 8 pitching categories. It's fine if it happens once and in awhile (I was on the receiving end of this last year), but two of his active roster pitchers are going to be out for several weeks at least and we could be seeing a string of this happening.

Well how about that! A victory over the league leading McCosh Almighties puts me (DEM) in a tie with KWFC for 2nd place in the ESPN National League. My pitchers and hitters are finally BOTH putting it together:techman:

Now only if my Yahoo League team could do the same...:(

I'll glady drop Gagne when the Brewers finally give up on his sorry ass. Until then, he's stuck wasting a spot on my roster.

I have no idea who A.F.Z. is. According to Yahoo, his last league activity was on Feb. 7th (before the draft). Interesting that he won last week and is still in 4th place overall.:)

I don't think he's in danger of missing the minimum innings pitched: He has 3 SPs and at least one of them should pitch twice this week. Still, I really don't like the idea of having an absentee manager.
