I didn't see The Insider.

The Cider House Rules was pretty decent, and I'm not really the pro-choiciest person out there.

The Green Mile was OK. Kind of disappointing to me really, my brother had hyped it, and I was expecting something on the level of Shawshank and it just wasn't.

The Sixth Sense was once again, OK, though I was spoiled on the twist.

But American Beauty? What a piece of crap.

The only movie I can think of in the last 10 years that is in the same league of overratedness is No Country for Old Men.

Speaking of possibly overrated...

While it's decent, I never really got into Being John Malkovich. I thought Adaptation was absolultely amazing, and Eternal Sunshine is one of my all-time favorite movies of the 2000s; and while I haven't seen Synechdoche yet, I think I'll like that too.

But for some reasion, Malkovich just didn't really excite me. I dunno why. Maybe I'm just missing something.

I agree completely on all counts.
