Man I would give good money if one of these threads turned out to have some actual substance. Well, not money, but I'd be awfully pleased.

This is getting SO old. Even the clever ruses are making me numb, now.

These fake Trek 11 "news" postings are getting kind of old.

I am sick of these threads...

But haven't we reached the saturation point on these? Seems a pretty high percentage of the XI board posts are taking on this theme.

It's getting to be a very very very very very very very very very very very old and very very very very very very very very very tired gag. Redundant, even.

These false posts are really annoying + not really very funny.

To be honest I am not sure anymore about this film, I don't know which news is real or fake but what am hearing is making me (a real defender of TREK) just bury my face in the sand and wish TREK XI wasn't happening.

i actually thought this was one of the funnier ones.
and really we know almost nothing for real about the plot i cant even come close to passing judgement on it.
all we have it a bit of casting but we dont have a clue how big some of the parts are or ages of the characters.

Ummm... John McClain in "Die Hard" is the guy well known for that. It's in Transformers that the "autobot" named "Bumblebee" was originally a VW Bug and is now a Camaro.

I'm guessing you've never seen any of the "Die Hard" movies and you didn't see "Transformers?"

Fretting must be a requirement to being a fan of anything.... I look forward to seeing it when it comes out and if it's a failure then the franchise will go into a coma for years until someone else comes along, dusts it off and tries to make money out of it again.

After NEMESIS, almost any TOS-related script would be an improvement. At least it'll have Nimoy and the NCC-1701 in it. That has to amount to something.
