I was taking the laundry out of the washer. I know my wife has some delicate blouses that need to be hung, rather than put in the dryer. So I yell to my wife upstairs:
"Honey? Do I hang up the blue one withe the crinkly texture?"
"Yes!"
"How about the one with the pattern that looks like The Companion?"
"Yes!"

That's a great story Forbin! If I say something over and over, my wife would know of it, but I doubt that I'd ever be able to do that.

My wife gets annoyed every time I mention someone on TV was on Star Trek (I don't differentiate between series. That'd be a waste).

I often tell my friends that they're reading my mind without benefit of meld. I also use "Peace and long life" on Facebook and "Please acknowledge" & similar formulations in texts. (A cellphone is just a modified communicator, right? ;) )
