The opening chapter of "The Fearful Summons" actually novelises the original "rounding up the crew" opening that he had scripted for ST VI, which was dropped and thus never filmed.

Yeah, it was "Flynn" in the booklist appearing in the back of the Trek novels for a while, until I notified the compiler.

Dafydd ab Hugh was misspelt ""Daffyd" on the covers of the "Rebels" trilogy, IIRC.

Just checked my print copy of fearful summons out of interest, name was correct although I would be shocked if nobody double checked the print copies

It's correct on the book: "Flinn", and in the ST VI credits. It's a common misspelling elsewhere.
