Just stick with it, there's absolutely no rush and so much to read. Even though it's daunting, they can't pump out new books faster than you can read them I'm sure, so eventually you'll catch up. I was in your shoes, I was in 2003 back in 2011, but now that it's 2015, I'm already in late 2011!

Just stick with it, there's absolutely no rush and so much to read. Even though it's daunting, they can't pump out new books faster than you can read them I'm sure, so eventually you'll catch up. I was in your shoes, I was in 2003 back in 2011, but now that it's 2015, I'm already in late 2011!
Well I finished Uncertain Logic after an enjoyable detour through Seekers 3, and am now caught up on all four relaunches, two years+ after starting the project.
I believe the technical term is "w00t!" I really like where the ENT relaunch has gone, it's a different feel from the others because it is aiming toward a known future as opposed to an open-end, so it is more like both a relaunch and the filling-in-the-spaces books as well. The Vanguard/Seekers arc is a bit like this as well, which is all to the good.
Now to fill in some of the other spots I've missed and catch up on some favorite authors' work. Next up, Greg's Rings of Time.

i've read bits and pieces of the post-series books over the years. I have finally tracked down the older DS9/VOY post-series stuff. So i started a fresh from the start reading with Avatar. I'm currently a chapter in on Mission Gamma: Twilight. I'm really loving the DS9 post-series run so far.

Only complain is that there are only 4 books
My problem has been I can buy books quicker than I can reed them, though I am limited in amounts of cash... Also my poison of choice has limited my reading speed (reading in German takes a lot longer than in Dutch or English), but the books I have read have absolutely drawn me in. Currently though I'm re-reading an awesome fanfic (Taskforce 43 by Zcenicx on Spacebattles.com), after which I will start in the back of what is there: Star Trek Prometheus and Prey when and as they come out.
Though i must be fair, I have the first two Prometheus books already.

My problem is simply lack of time. I read fast generally, even though German reading (other than law books that is) does slow me down significantly, I read more study books because I want to be thorough in my essays. So I scarcely find time for trek reading, even during the summer holidays.
Yes, I haven't gotten to them yet... I did read Brave & Bold to set it up.
I have lamented the "no new film"-thing for a long time, but since I finally found the books (I did know there were loads of them but never found the incentive to buy them, after all Dutch bookshops don't sell them at all), I have been immersing myself and going where I had never gone before.
