"Day of the Dove" is a definite pasta episode.

while All Our Yesterdays is a fave, and good for a romantic meal as said, I would save it for a fancier datelike menu. For shells and meatballs, I agree that the red-hued "Day of the Dove" is the best choice.

BTW, I see Wink of an Eye for a dessert and drinks affair, especially anything with espresso...bzzzzzzz.....

Interesting, I never thought of mixing the emotion of an episode with the taste of the food, much like a fine wine

I went for "Wink of an Eye", that way you don't have to distract yourself from your eating too much

I'd normally agree. However, the eps I chose were some of the better ones of the third season. Also, I am trying to get away from the classics of seasons 1 & 2 so I can enjoy them again later.
