"Day of the Dove" goes well with meatballs. The anger and passion of the episode nicely complement your food selections.

First vote for All Our Yesterdays...

Italian food is always romantic, so sprinkle in a little Spock, a little love, a little family responsibilities, a little supernova, and, walah, "All Our Pastadays!"

"Day of the Dove" is a definite pasta episode.

while All Our Yesterdays is a fave, and good for a romantic meal as said, I would save it for a fancier datelike menu. For shells and meatballs, I agree that the red-hued "Day of the Dove" is the best choice.

BTW, I see Wink of an Eye for a dessert and drinks affair, especially anything with espresso...bzzzzzzz.....

I'd love to be there, TLS, but I'm not inclined to travel out of state just for Trek and dinner.

Day of the Dove would be my choice. Watching swordfights while you use a knife and fork, what could be more inspiring?

Thanks folks! It was terrific. "we need no urging to hate humans!"

Pasta was terrific too. Great input and we'll do it again in two weeks.

Mixing food with third season TOS is often inadvisable.

Interesting, I never thought of mixing the emotion of an episode with the taste of the food, much like a fine wine ;)

I went for "Wink of an Eye", that way you don't have to distract yourself from your eating too much :)

I'd normally agree. However, the eps I chose were some of the better ones of the third season. Also, I am trying to get away from the classics of seasons 1 & 2 so I can enjoy them again later.

Klingons and pasta always go together.
