Trek Lit Limericks

^ Maybe we should team up, and use our powers for good rather than evil. Or, should that be evil, rather than good? I always confuse the two. :)

Anyway,

When along came a newbie
Who was much too young to be
A drinker quite up to their par.

The last time I went to a pitch

Rick Berman was found in a dumpster
Dressed like an out-of-work frumpster
He took a slug from his bottle
And tried not to throttle

His "room" mate, Herman Munster.

(Close enough rhyme or no? I'll leave the decision up to the group.)

Are you telling me, David, that we came up with "Munster" independently? That's...that's...a little scary. Or something.

There aren't that many rhymes with "Dumpster" (which should have a capitalized D, as it is a trademark); I think Ted was reaching to come up with "frumpster." Applying consonants, all I could find to work with was "Munster." Though in retrospect, I suppose "punster" and "Donald Trumpster" might have been options.

Now, now ... I allowed for Ogden Nash rhyming in the initial post.

I was fully expecting "humpster" as the final rhyme.

He broke out into song

Even though he saw wrinkles on Data.
