Trek Guest Star on Medium Last Night

I loved Artie, but I still liked the show with Schallert and the other guest cast, too. I have been digitizing my season sets for iPod lately.

Jeri, I'm probably missing something right under my nose, but who's Artie?

^ Oh, M'Sharak was talking in Post #13 about William Shallert stepping in for Ross Martin on "Wild Wild West," when Ross had his heart attack. He played Artemus Gordon, James T. West's partner.

^ Thanks for filling me in, Jeri. "Wild Wild West" was one of those shows that I liked the few times I watched it, but I never got around to watching it regularly for some reason. And now I have so much on my plate (what else is new, right?) that I'd have to put it in the "maybe some day" category.

I'll never be able to think of Schallert as anyone but Patty Duke's dad.

I still remember him as Nancy Drew's dad in the seventies series that started out starring Pamela Sue Martin, which aired with The Hardy Boys.

Isis, I can recommend them and have all the season sets. I like them so much I digitize them for iPod.

^ Thanks, Jeri. Well, I do have a break between my Winter and Spring quarter courses soon (I went back to school a couple years ago). It might not be a bad idea to do a few of those "maybe some day" things then, especially if they involve putting my feet up and relaxing...

The first season is black & white; but it's color from then on.
