Trek guest actors in maybe surprising roles

Saw a Tarzan episode on H&I this morning with Leslie Parrish. Even in a stodgy safari outfit, the woman was breathtaking.

An episode of the Partridge Family I saw this morning (don't judge me) featured William Schallert as an old folk singer!

He wasn't half bad, either

Watching the movie, The Green Berets. The actor, Jason Evers, who plays Capt Coleman played Rael in the Trek episode, Wink of an Eye.
Of course, this movie also features George Takei as Capt Nim

Flint's stint as a rusty veteran bomber pilot in WWII:

12 O'Clock High, "Falling Star" (Jan. 3, 1966).

He went grey fast. Within two years he was on Star Trek, and in the Disney film "The Moon Spinners" with completely white hair.

Saw William Schallert in an episode of Johnny Ringo recently and in it he had only one leg! Obviously he had it tucked under his knee but it was very well done for a 1959 cowboy show I must admit!

I kind of assumed Daly's gray hair in "Requiem" was a wig or a dye job.

It's possible, and possible that he liked the look. But he was born in 1918, and 50 years is long enough to grey out. He may have even done the dye job for 12 O'Clock High.

Edited because sometimes I suck at math.

I think there’s some syrup with that pancake.

I’m pretty sure you can see the lace in photo on the right.

Alan Landers from The Invaders episode, Beachhead I'm guessing! Nowadays you can sure see the folding line in the hair but back then you'd never have guessed unless you knew!

I'm a bit late thinking to bring this up, but Decades has been doing a Mod Squad Binge this weekend...good opportunity for TOS twofers with Bob and whoever else shows up for a particular episode.

The latest episode of The Mod Squad binge had Clint Howard in it.
An earlier episode had William Schallert as a priest opposite Sammy Davis Jr.

Just watched an episode of Gimme a Break that had John Hoyt in it.
I looked up the Wikipedia entry and I didn't realize he was a regular cast member starting with season two.
Then again, I don't remember much about the series other than it stared Nell Carter, who, it has been said, was the inspiration for DC Comics Amanda Waller.

Have Gun, Will Travel on H&I just now - season 1, episode 14, "Yuma Treasure."
The guest star was Warren Stevens, and the ep was written by Gene Roddenberry!
