Trek characters' hobbies and interests

I've been surprised by some of the more unusual interests expressed by Star Trek characters over the years. My favourite has to be Captain Archer's passion for water polo and it made me wonder what other weird interests have the crew displayed in the past?

The horse is symbolic of riding things.

Like starships.

Adventurously.

And people say film criticerisering is intellectually challenging

Data likes to write poetry, sometimes about his cat.

We also see him paint in several episodes. And playing theater. Playing the violin. Probably all with the goal of coming closer to "humanity". I have little doubt he would also have tried things like sculpting, etc, even though we didn't get to see it.

Sisko: cooking
O'brien and Bashir together: playing darts, re-enacting historic battles
Tom: collecting and playing with 20th century trinkets (either replicated or real)

BTW most of these (and those mentioned in previous posts) I wouldn't even call "weird", as specified by the OP

Oh, and Sisko plays baseball! Not weird in our century, but certainly in his :)

I think he did sculpt in the episode Masks.

Riker likes to cook also.

I couldn't really think of any truly weird hobbies. Although I thought it was kind of amusing that Data wrote poetry about his kitty.

Kirk- Antiques and American History
Spock-Playing the Vulcan Lyre
McCoy-?
Scotty-Drinking and reading tech manuals
Sulu- Fencing, botany, firearms, ancient aircraft
Chekov-faux-Russian facts
Uhura-Singing and dancing

Geordi makes a model HMS Victory in Elementary, Dear Data. Not sure there are any other later references to that particular hobby though.
