Gotta say, as FanWankie and Silly as it sounds, I got that same goose-bumpy, teary-eyed, smiley-faced feeling, hearing the snip of ST Theme music at the end of the clip as I always do when I hear those French horns!

Now I'm waiting for a real Trekkie to spend time on it and do an in-depth 30-minute analysis on YouTube.
In the meantime, what does it take for this series to get its own forum here? Is this teaser enough?
Well we're fans...and any "new" series eventually becomes an "old" series, so we can't use "new series".

I think about these when Im seeing the new show promos. Its been a long time!
^ Just goes to show that early teasers don't say much or tell us what we can expect from the final product.

They're a TEASE! I've said this all along after the panic of the first Beyond teaser. They almost never tell you much of anything. They're a visual notice of what's coming!

Although I do kinda agree with those who are hoping it gets a subtitle. We've already had one live action show called just "Star Trek", one animated show called just "Star Trek", and one movie called just "Star Trek". I just sorta prefer it to have some built-in official differentiation. But perhaps that's just the weird way my mind works.

Or "Star Treks" since it covers new crews, new civilizations.....boldly going where, well...
Casual Viewer: There's a book series? I just want to watch the television or cable series. I don't care about any book series. I shouldn't have to understand a television series from the books; it should stand on its own.
And planets.....and ships...and different crews.

Meh, for the same reason the folks in ancient Egypt didn't count down the years and append "B.C." to them. We've been calling the original series TOS for around thirty years now.
Having the main seven characters or whatever split up between different ships/locations could be a really great way to build the world in a way past shows haven't. Especially if it follows a more serialized format than past shows.
