I am going to open up a discussion about TRAPPIST-1 as it seems to be very interesting in the serach for life.
Life on TRAPPIST-1 Planets? Rock-Swapping May Boost Odds
"The three potentially habitable planets in the TRAPPIST-1 system may be even more promising abodes for life than scientists had thought.

These three tightly packed alien worlds trade material much more liberally than do planets in Earth's solar system, meaning they may have seeded each other with the building blocks of life, or perhaps even life itself, a new study suggests.

"Our paper addresses the possibility that life on one of these planets can spread to others through the transfer of rocky material," Manasvi Lingam and Avi Loeb wrote in the study, which was published online last week in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. "We conclude that this process has a high probability of being operational, implying that this planetary system may possess multiple life-bearing planets."

The few questions that I am going to start off with are the following:

1.The first six planets are within the habitable zone and would create a rather large gravitational field. How far out into the TRAPPIST-1 system would the interior six planets be able to reach to grab objects such as asteroids and passing by comets?

2. With TRAPPIST -1f and 1g being very close together I would have to say the mountain ranges on both planets would be extremely high due to the gravity of both planets influencing the other. If both planets cores are active, which I would think the cores would be due to gravity of both planets pulling on each other, both planets could experience extreme tectonic plate movement that is if there is water to help lube the fault lines in between each plate. What do you think?

3. What type of nebula was the system born from? Did the nebula have the components to create water that the planets would need to support a lubrication system for plate movement as well as life?

4. With 1f and 1g being close and possibly geologically active, would both planets transfer rocky material in the form of extreme volcanic activity?

5. If rocky material is transfered between each planet via volcanic activity and passes to each planet through space, would the material transfered be similar to small comets with frozen water that could contain microbes that would then become active when the material came into contact with the other planet?

6.With 1f and 1g being so close could both planets possibly share their atmosphere when passing by each other?
