Good point, never thought about that. Maybe at some point, part of the planet's mantle would have cooled allowing people to be able to walk on a hard surface again, or a station could be placed in orbit. Some Founders or Vorta could be stationed on the surface or in a station to guide wayward Changelings toward the new homeworld.Maybe a combination of both. The Vorta and Jem'Hadar would certainly be extra careful with them.

What I wonder is how the Founders were able to get a rogue planet to remain warm enough not just for them to retain a liquid state, but for solids to survive. Generally planets without suns get kind of chilly. As in a few degrees above absolute zero.
