Transporter 3

So I just saw the trailer for the new Transporter movie and I am really stoked to go see it!!! I know it's just popcorn-action with no real plot blah blah blah. I love action flicks and the Transporter series is among the best. I'll be there to see it how about you?

Maybe on video. The first flick had some great action set pieces, but fell apart once it became apparent that there was no plot. Never saw part two, but I would expect more of the same. That said, the action set pieces were good, and Stratham carries things to a certain extent. Might be worth a look.

I'm a big fan of the franchise and plan to see this one in the theatre. I really enjoyed Statham and all the snazzy action in the first one. The second movie though did go a bit too far over the top with the action sequences. I hope they've toned it down for the third one. You know, back to first movie quality which was just about right.

My wife saw the trailer on tv yesterday, yelled across the room "Are we gonna go see Transporter 3?"... I just looked up from what I was doing in the kitchen and gave her "that" look... She said "Oh.. duh... Dumb question."...

Oh yeah, we'll be there... Love these movies...

I love the first one, didn't much like the second, and think the trailer for #3 looks like a vast improvement on #2, so I'll be seeing it...

Looks like a popcorn flick - but we enjoyed the previous ones, so it's likely on the list to see

I liked the first half hour of the original film. I thought maybe it had potential to be more than it was marketed to be, but then it just went downhill from there when it was clear they had no aspirations for a coherent plot. It was just a string of action scenes put together. I don't mind over-the-top stuff like Shoot 'Em Up, but they have to be able to connect the dots somehow.

I'm in agreement with everyone that this has more of a original movie feel to it. When it comes to good popcorn action fun Statham is the man.

I saw it and I was happy to see that they did in fact tone down the over-the-top action/car fu from the second movie. They also did away wth Tarconi being the comic relief. That's neither good not bad since I didn't mind it, but it just shows that they were trying to return to form, set by the first movie. They even brought the action back to Europe, but without the sunny warmth of Southern France. This time we got Eastern Europe with a lot of cold colors. Overall, it was a good ride, but the first one is still my favorite.

Can't wait to see what's in store for Transporer 4.

No. the cops were killed when a bomb planted in Frank's car went off. It was meant to kill Frank, but he had stopped for a soda. As he was in the shop, the cops started sniffing around the car and BOOOM!

Trying to figure out a way to get to the movie this weekend... Anyone care to babysit?
