'Transformers 3' Casting, Rumors, Pics till release

Revealed: Official Transformers 3 plot synopsis

Transformers 3 Push-Pops, listed at Amazon today, reveals the following official description:
SPOILER
"The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009's Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There's new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime Transformers character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth."

Almost feels like an in joke now.
Sure the Devestator in Revenge was played up but he didn't have any more total screen time of real merit than the Devestator in TF:1.

They should have a Devestator character if nothing else as an in joke to how easy the Autobots dispose of him. Mocking the serious threat of the real source material Devestator.

Does anyone think that they're attempting to combine Shockwave with Unicron?
Not totally. I get that they want him to feel menacing but I don't yet see them showcasing Shockwave as a destroyer on Unicron's level.

Then again the way Revenge butchered things after an above average first installment I can't say I'd be surprised.

I think once again Megatron is going to be overshadowed by the villain and as much as I love Shockwave (he's my third favorite Decepticon) I think it undermines Megatron's character big time. I'm still not willing to see this yet but it seems like they're at least trying.

I think perhaps it'll be like the comics and have them as rivals (Although Cartoon Shockwave's role as Cybertron's guardian might still be in there.)

Finally, Michael Bay Makes the Victoria’s Secret/Transformers Mash-Up You’ve Been Waiting For

Just as you can believe Michael Bay when he says he hasn’t gone over-budget on Transformers 3, you can bet the megadirector was counting every recession-era cent for his customary Victoria’s Secret holiday commercial, too. The new ad features some of the brand’s most hallowed models prancing around some the very Chicago locations Bay blew to hell this summer, with the occasional horse and/or opera house tossed in for variety. Read on for the mildly NSFW spot (and the making-of video, with images of the man at work).

Re-purposed Transformers 3 leading lady Rosie Huntington-Whiteley leads the scantily clad pack, and if you squint at the one in yellow, it’s kind of like a Bumblebee cameo.

:D

The 'Dark of the Moon' trailer will be attached with "The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader". I have to admit that my interest in this film has increased slightly over what it has been but it is going to be borderline if I go or not.

Well my hopes for TF3 are so low the trailer can only excel.
I'll be at Narnia 3 next week for sure and my excitement for that is higher than TF3.
I was let down by both Narnia 2 and TF2 so if Narnia 3 is good I'll take that as omen that perhaps TF3 will also be good. IFs and Butts
