I was downtown the other day and saw some Transformers 3 filming. It was pretty cool, I guess. A bit annoying since they shut down a good portion of downtown Chicago, so the streets were busier and getting around was a lot more difficult.
At least Nolan's Batman movies shoot mostly during the night.

I'm still in the closet regarding my feelings about this movie....the last one was such a disaster and nearly made me leave the theater thanks to an incredibly painful migraine. I don't think I'll subject myself to that again...if I see this at all...it will probably be on DVD.

Does anyone know the name of the "new" Transformer? I think it is going to be a Ferrari 458 Italia.
Right now in the script its name is "Broad Racial Stereotype 232 (Asian.)" So, it should be fun. It'll probably be a female robot that can't drive herself.
I'm super excited for this film. Super. Excited.
I loved the first one, I liked the second- it suffered horribly from the writer's strike.
Tho it'll be odd not having Fox, I don't care for her.
Most importantly, I'm thrilled and elated about the cast.
Not only is Shockwave to be there- the VO is rumoured to be vetran VO Corey Burton!! I'll be over the moon if that happens, the man is amazing! If Burton, Welker and Cullen are in it- that's three "big" VOs who have real talent- that's something I won't even wait for a sale to buy!!
I hope the story doesn't suck.
Bay just has a big log of stuff since TF took over his life, someone else may pick up the movies, but this should be it for him, since he didn't get the time off he wanted between this and ROTF.

Ehren Kruger wrote the script for this one right? I believe he also made revisions or contributed to Revenge of the Fallen.
