Shockwave is a/the villain, and Bay admits the dorky humor (hopefully that being potty jokes and masturbation jokes) is gone. The Twins are gone.

Paramount Pictures & DreamWorks SKG made a ton of money off it. Even without Michael Bay they would still make a bunch of money with a Transformers 4.
I'm somewhat disappointed Shockwave will be the villain. Wasn't he a Decepticon mad scientist? I used to have his toy version. Unicron seemed like the next step up to The Fallen. He didn't necessarily have to be a planet sized planet eater. Ah well. Glad to hear Uncle Phil and the voice of Shredder will be voicing the leader of the Areobots.
Glad to hear that Silverbolt is in it. I hope we also get the Aerialbots/Superion. That would be nice.
i'm seeing a dogfight between Starscream and the Aerialbots in which they literally fight in mid air, flipping between jet and robot modes...

I'm a little more interested in this now that Shockwave is the villain...in G1 Shockwave was left behind on Cybertron to govern the planet in Megatron's absence. I wonder if Unicron will be mentioned in this movie if it's the last. Orci and Kurtzman commented that they would have liked to seen Unicron just for the sheer scale of him. I hope they get someone good to voice Shockwave.
As for Sam having his face plastered over the world...that didn't seem to get people's attention. I doubt they would remember Oh yeah that guy that evil robot wanted. It's possible I suppose but then again I use the incident in Transformers the first to make my point. That was covered up and forgotten. Unless it's a point in the third film that Sam is now globally known I'm inclined to think people will just forget about him.

What little enthusiasm I had for this film just disappeared. I mean come on, there aren't a couple of hundred actual hot actresses out there in the 20-25 age group that could have replaced Fox??

As a long time transfan, The more Bay irritates people like you the more I'm certain I'll have a howlingly good time at the opening night of Transformers 3.

Maybe the twins will have the same amount of screentime and dialog as Ratchet and Ironhide did in the sequel.
It's been an interesting debate on other TF forums regarding what those set pics are of. Michael Bay has stated a couple of times that there will be no twins so perhaps these are another set or Mudflap and Skids will be killed off. They were just so over the top (akin to Jar Jar Binks) not to mention offensive and unnecessary. I was also disappointed with the lack of Arcee in the last movie, do we know if she'll be back and if there will be any new Autobots? Like Hotrod? It's not just fanwank regarding Unicron as I noted earlier Orci and Kurtzman thought using Unicron would be awesome. I think it would be too much of a complicated story arc to introduce and explain...let alone show. Perhaps you could save Unicron for a Transformers 4 which I agree could be easily done without Michael Bay. I'd be interested in that just to see what another director could do with the budget he's been given.
The comedy will be when the twins get killed in the first five minutes and no one sheds a tear.

^ Exactly right on both points and since they botched their original plan for Starscream to do that in the last film we will hopefully get it in the third movie.
