Does the 3D work the same regardless of the glasses? Do the red/blue glasses work the same as the new black glasses, or is the 3D rendered differently on the film? Would the new blacks glasses work on an older 3D movie?
The technology has come leaps and bounds, and it was never possible in the 1950s to put 3D in the living room. The blue/red glasses and funny looking images turned people off in general, but I find the new glasses to be exceptional and unobtrusive to viewing.
I think, really, 3D will only really become a permanent fixture when it can work without the need for glasses of *any* kind...

Why do people think 3-d is a fad? Its the future of TV and Movies.
I can do without the silly glasses and the reddish/blue tint, thank you very much.![]()

Besides Josh Duhamel saying he was coming back, Michael Bay has announced three cast additions.
Ken Jeong from The Hangover and Role Models.
Academy Award winner Frances McDormand (Fargo).
John Malkovich.
Do the last two names make you scratch you head? Unless Malkovich is getting paid enough money here to cover his next three or four independent movies.
Malkovich is apparently playing the head of National Intelligence...and Shia LeBeouf's boss? Kid matured fast.
When is Hot Rod gonna take over for Optimus? RODIMUS PRIME MUTHATREKKERS!!!
