The trailer is really well-done. Love the music and what it adds to the stunning visuals.
It's funny how a large part of TMP is people staring at something off screen.
It's a nice tribute to TMP.

I'm not feeling it. It's cut like a modern trailer, yes, including the generic modern trailer music and scenes presented out of order (eg it makes it look like the Klingon ship fired on Enterprise, zapping the warp core and burning Chekov's hand), but I don't think it does any better a job of advertising the movie than the original trailer:

That was pretty good (Spock's voice over set over the space footage in the opening was great) but the generic music isn't as good as the Goldsmith score. The original trailer makes it look fantastic as well.
