Very emotional trailer. Loved the lines that Gene says, that he is optimistic about our future, that we are still children.

Given where the the little guys attention is directed, yes he seem to have embraced
Gene Roddenberry's "world view" of females exist solely to have a nice rack.

It is hard not to be a bit jaded about the guy, though, after hearing a lot of other peoples' accounts of how Star Trek worked in the 60's. Further, it's a bit hard to not see this as an attempt by his son to cash in on the legacy a bit. Maybe I'm just too cynical...

At any rate, while I don't think he was the saint others do, he at least made one great TV show that I've enjoyed for a long time.
