Hey, does anyone here know how to make this .gif into an animated avatar? I'd love to use it as such.

I normally use animation shop, but getting it down to the right size to be accepted can sometimes be difficult.
I usually find I have to lose too many frames/colours. Other people may have better software/advice
(In any event, once we go over to xenforo, I don't think they'll work)

So much for progress.
May I ask why?
Used to be we didn't have avatars at all!
Also (as a former board mod myself) lots of people find them distracting while they're trying to read a board, which is why lots of boards don't allow you to use them.
And we had to post uphill on dial-up, both ways!
What? We can have avatars?
when will we move to a new board and how will we know?
