"Bliss" is on right now, where everyone gets just what they want.

So what does Janeway want? Mark's engagement ended.

What does Chakotay want? Reinstatement in StarFleet and a professorship.

If this was supposed to be reading their minds, they didn't want to be together anymore. BUT, even my bro-in-law who was 12yo when the show was first on said that HE could see the sexual tension between Janeway and Chakotay. If a 12yo boy could see it, what the hell was Paramount thinking?

I don't know if it's not that they couldn't see it or if it's that the actors didn't want to do it. But someone did stop it happening we just don't know who.

Maybe they just didn't see it. I've seen people say this character and that one have great chemistry and should be together and it makes me go "huh?" Or I'll see a pairing and people go "huh?' to that.

I don't think it matters anymore to me. Sure, I would have been over the moon if they'd actually followed through on all the wonderful chemistry and the teasing, but they didn't so no use crying over spilt promise.

My attitude these days is 'Screw 'em!' I am DONE with being pulled around by the nose by Star Trek. Too many people had a say and an interfering finger in the pot imho, and as the saying goes, too many cooks spoil the broth The J/C community has carried on regardless though and continued to play with stories, poetry, vids, fakes, discussions etc., and was probably made stronger and more determined by TIIC's stupidity/lack of risk-taking cahones. J/Cville and VAMB are all I need these days :thumbsup:
