Gosh! well T'Pol would kick her arse, yes there have been some awful scenes where it has seemed T'Pol isn't as strong as she should be, but i Ignore them and remember the arse kicking T'Pol gave that klingon dude in an episode i can't recall.

Who is more deserving of Southern Comfort? They both work hard, good in their fields, although T'Pol would also be an impressive MACO and I'm not sure amanda would be that great a scientist. On thoes grounds and that Trip views T'Pol as the ONE, T'Pol FTW

Sadly, the show runners forgot about her too. As if she had never existed.

I'm going to take a guess here and say that the reason they didn't bring her back was that Noa Tishby was too expensive for them to bring back for more than one episode. Enterprise was under tight budget constraints at that point.

Honestly, with the exception of Major Hayes(Steven Culp)all the MACOs were underused and ended up as little more than glorified ship's security in bird-spatter camo fatigues.

why import an Israeli actress when there were probably hundreds of available Actresses in the U.S. that could have been hired for less and would have done an equallly good job in the part.

That's just my guess why they didn't bring her back, I really don't know for sure. Your right though, they could have used anyone, I didn't think Noa Tishby was that great, personally. The character, Amanda Cole would have been a great addition to the crew and a rivalry between her and T'Pol for a few episodes would have been interesting.
