Touchscreen Mobile Phones

I've just bought my wife the Purple LG KS365. It's a really nice phone and I'd get one myself but truth is I want to get into the 21st century, so I'm going to purchase a fully touch screen mobile phone. Problem is I want a nice cheap one but I don't know which one to get.

I've got my eyes on the Samsung Tocco Lite or the LG Cookie Fresh. Both seem to have what I want but I really don't know which would be the best one to get.

I also don't know if there are any other phones that are of a similar price and have the same features. Does anyone know of any?

Were you in my position which phone would you purchase?

Get something android based.

Personally, as someone who has a touchscreen phone, I really wish I had some actual buttons. I hit the wrong letters all the time while texting.

Because you don't have much choice if you go with Apple. Android is also rapidly taking market share in the mobile phone market. You can find high end phones to low end phones to match your needs.

OK well thanks peeps for your replies but in the end I've decided to buy the same phone as the Mrs. It's an absolutely fantastic phone and does have a bit of touchscreen to it because it's touchscreen to type in phone numbers.

Reason I came to this decision is because 2 of my in laws have an LG Cookie and an Iphone 4 and after spending some time on them I realised the wifes phone, even though not fully touchscreen and not having half the features, was still a great phone and adequate for my needs. Also one major clincher was the fact when I was playing some app games on the Iphone 4 it was struggling to detect my touch, for everyone else it was working fine but I guess I must have had a ghost finger and it was pissing me off. LOL
