Total Eclipse of the Heart - Literal Video Version

A friend of mine posted this on his LJ this morning, and it cracked me up.
Yeah, I love that -- my sister sent me the link on Facebook. The video finally makes sense! 
There's a number of other "literal music videos". The one for "Total Eclipse of the Heart" was actually one of the most recent, I think... probably inspired by some of the originals, although I think it's the best one I've seen yet.
Some are better than others of course, but you'll probably get a few chuckles from most of them. You can find some of the originals, like Tears for Fears' "Head Over Heels" and A-Ha's "Take On Me" here; or you could go to Youtube and search for "literal music videos", there's a bunch of 'em.

I watched several of the Literal Video versions, Losing my Religion, Take on Me, You're Beautiful, We Built This City, and I thought they were all rubbish ranging from bleh to meh except for two of them, Total Eclipse and Anything For Love. Turns out they were both done by the same person. I've not watched his other 4 videos though but those two are the only good ones I've seen.
I've seen several videos. None as good as this TofH one. This one is WIN and should now be the standard they all aim for.
I watched the "Anything For Love" one by the same guy. This guy has a "talent" for this (only thing I guess I don't like are the "comedic voices" during the insturmental bridges.

The literal videos by dascottjr range from good to great, the others are mediocre to poorly done.

Not quite as good as "Total Eclipse," but pretty good. I showed "Total Eclipse" to my sister this afternoon and it cracked her up; she was a teenager in the 80s, so that song is one of her childhood favorites.
