TOS Star Trek Tattoo!!!

Of course, if you want to be literal with Trek tats, get a TNG combadge on your left chest just above the nipple and get some rank pips on your neck.

TOS is my favorite Trek. I'm not saying anything negative about TNG. I love all of Star Trek. I'm going with the TOS Starfleet Command delta insignia badge on my chest. It will be place above my left nipple (See below). This badge has a more modern look than the 60's version. I'm not sure of the size. I was thinking of three to four inches in length and two to two and half inches in width. I'm not sure if this is too small or too big. It's something I need to discuss with my Tattoo Artist. This same tattoo is also going on my left lower back leg and will be the same size as my Borg 5618 insignia tattoo.

This is not me, this is just an example. I do kind of like the size of the badge, but mine will look more like the original (See Above)

WOW! Your tattoos look amazing! I do not have any myself, but have always wanted to put the Federation Insignia on my bicep, but my husband has warned me that it will be all out war if i ever do it. I also would love a "comm-badge" on my chest where one would actually be. Again, i probably won't get to do it in this lifetime.

Kudos to you for doing what you want with your own body! I cant wait to see what you get next!

Since there seems to be some interest, I got some photos:

This is my first tattoo it's on my right arm.

I'm contemplating adding Borg tubules sprouting out from behind the Federation emblem on my wrist which will eventually become a full sleeve

I decided to get my back tattooed with a TOS Star Trek Tattoo....

Wow! A fan of our work! (#8 and #10, and possibly the Enterprise in one other shot).

Pretty cool. I'm not the one to ask about what's best for a tat tho... I'd go with a really small Delta (Command or Sciences) and leave it at that.

I like to see those Borg Tubules Tattoos. I did considered of have my right leg asssimated with a Borg Tattoo (See below). I'm still pondering that one. A lot of thought needs to go into a tattoo, before you go under the needle.

^^ Wow that Borg tat is pretty cool. I could never get something like that but it looks good. Orac thanks for posting your pics.

I'm having the UFP Seal done this Fall. The seal in going over Spock's head. I'm not sure of the size. I'm thinking seven to nine inches for the seal. I need to to talk to my tattoo artist about the seal.

^^ 7 to 9 inches is good for something alright but not sure about the seal though...won't that be going into your neck then? I'd think about 5 inches would do...for the seal that is not for ANYTHING else. Muuuah

Sorry but that back tattoo is LOL.

No offence, I just think that's going a bit too far. It looks like you have a huge poster on your back. It just looks ridiculous. I know if I were at a beach and saw you without a shirt on, I would laugh my ass off, which is exactly what other people will be doing. Not trying to be mean, just being honest.

The other tattoos are pretty cool and don't look foolish.

...and yeah, I don't care that you don't want negative feedback but this is a messageboard so if you plan on asking for opinons, expect some negative ones.

Kirk's_Tights.

I strongly suggest that next time you don't bother to post stuff like this in this forum.

Read what you said. Did you post this to be helpful or to mock someone? Do you feel better for having said it? Do you feel superior in your own judgment? By the way, when someone says "no offense", 99.99% of the time they mean to offend. That is unwelcome here.

I don't need the hassle in here that a mean-spirited post like yours will cause. Take it elsewhere.

WOW, my post was not meant to be the way you are taking it, that's for sure. I don't think I am better than anyone nor does it satisfy me to "mock" someone. This is how I talk. I didn't do it to knock him down and kick him, I was just sharing my personal opinion on the tattoo because it seems a bit much, imo, and a lot of people will make comments about him.

It wasn't meant to be that bad and I am sorry you think that way about me personally.

I am not used to forums where negative opinions aren't really welcome so please excuse the behaviour, I am still getting used to the rule.

No offense taken, but you can go to HELL. Most of the world does live in a free society and you are entitle to your opinion. My tattoos are for my enjoyment, not yours or anybody else's' for that matter. Last time I check, my body belongs to me and how dare you tell me what I should or shouldn't do with My body. You need to start living in the 21th century instead of the 1950's. Next, you will tell me that a woman does not have a right to an abortion, even though it's her body. I know you probably think I'm comparing apples to oranges, but it has the same basic foundation. The foundation or law states that I and no one else has control over my body. You and your lame friends can laugh at me until Hell freezes over. Why would I want to associate myself with people, who are not open to free thinking or new ideas. I tend to be different or extremely weird. I like being weird and being normal is just way too boring for me. Life is way too short to worry about what ignorant people think. I intend to tattoo seventy percent of my body with Star Trek Tattoos and I'm not looking back. Maybe you should go back to kindergarten or grade school and take a course on morals and ethics. How this, when I die I want to be buried in a Photon Torpedo, is that weird enough for you. You know what, I love it. I guess you and your ignorant friends would laugh and have a problem with other people who do not conform to your way of thinking (See Below). Maybe you and your lame friends should worry about your own lives and I worry about my own. You can give me negative feedback all you want. It just goes in one ear and out the other, is that honest enough for you. In closing, go to HELL.

haha, calm down bud. It was an opinion, which is what you will get in life. I don't care what you do with your body, I was just sharing what I think about it. Relax. It doesn't make you any less of a person. And no, my friends and I don't laugh at people. it wasn't meant as a literal statement, just a figure of speech. I am way more mature than you imagine and I actually love tattoos, I just don't really like the one you happened to choose. Personal opinion, just on the choice of art, not a tattoo in general, so don't assume you know what "conforms" to me.

Hell is too hot for a gal like me. I like it here in my air conditioned home.

OK, fight over.

Plus, Kirk1701, even though the sentiment was harsh, that's the risk you take when you put something controversial online. You can't expect everyone to be positive.

If you can't take that, you won't last long on the 'net. Not even around TrekBBS.
