TOS-R Blu-ray leak from Norway!!

Let me get this straight.....

Ace Makes a statement based on 'inside information' (which he doesn't mention)

Guardian makes a statement without inside info.

Then when Ace's inside info is announced, he quotes Guardian's post to make him look stupid and once again doesn't mention he's an insider.

Then when it's pointed out hundreds of folks in many, many different forums (who didn't have inside info) specualted on what method Paramount would use to include the original version (as they had never offered any branching on Blu-ray before) he then says he's an insider and claims his actions were mature.

Wow, that's the very definition of class.

When you have inside info you don't mock the knowledge or speculation of someone who doesn't---you're not on a level playing field.

The real class thing to do was to say--"I didn't mention at the time but I have insider information and had a leg up on you guys."

That would have been classy and mature.

Saying, boldly "...I was correct in everything I originally stated!!" is just plain weak.

As an owner of the HD-DVD version for which i paid over $100, I had expected NOT to rebuy the Blu-ray, but wow that price is nice. can't wait to see what the Amazon price will be.

Deciding factors:
The branching to compare the two versions
the fewer number of discs to cover the season
the 7.1 sound
more features than before
the price and
the probability of disc art this time have gotten them a day one sale.

I'd have bought the movie (1-6) set day one too, if they had, had branching for 2 & 6. I'm gonna stick with the 2-4 set and buy 1, 6 (and rebuy) 2 when the DCs come out. I'll skip TFF unless they do a recut/new Fx version some day.

I'm with you. Another compelling feature of the BD set is, apparently, a simpler package. It seems that it's just a carboard sleeve over the amaray case. The HD-DVD set has that ridiculous big box (which I don't use, anyway) into which the sleeve/case fit.

Oh, another thing is: I bought the HD-DVD set for about $50, and it's going for about that price on Amazon right now. If I can unload it, it would making the expense of the BD pretty small (maybe about $25 more during Deep Discount's May sale).
