TOS Inspired Shots

Tried to make an image that I have always failed at, and I may still not be there.

I always liked the Enterprise as it departed the episode on its way to its next adventure.

The fabulously talented Professor Moriarty posted a spectacular image over here on The Trek BBS IMAGE!

I cannot imitate his spectacular work, but I wanted to turn out a similar image with my Where No Man Has Gone Before USS Enterprise. It is NOT anywhere near as wonderful as the fantastic Professor's image, but it was fun to do and of course, it was a tip of the imaging hat to the Professor.

I really like this shot. My one nitpick is the blue on the dorsal is too vivid. I would suggest desaturating that some.

I know the colours on physical filming miniatures are more vivid than they appear onscreen, possibly due to studio lighting.

That is a shot of the 1st pilot E we never got to see. Nice!

I actually like yours better.
While I think that your image is quite superb! (I like yours better!)

Thank you, my friend!

Thank you! Good points all around.
