YOU are FABULOUS! Thank you! (Of course, that is the sort of effect I was trying to get!)
Wow. You have NAILED that look
Wait, that's a rendering?!
Could have fooled me. Looks completely like a real physical shot. And I'm not even exaggerating. Very good job!
Oh man, thank you! Thank you very much!
Wow! Thank you very kindly! That is very nice of you to say!
Looking great, can't do much better if you're going for "that" classic TOS on TV look, for example, those reflections on the nacelle domes are exactly what they would look like if they would be real physical plastic objects.
That is exactly what I'm trying to get! Thank you!
Woah, that is amazing work! I could sit and stare at that for hours.
Wow! Thank you very much!
Maybe a dreadnought next?
Probably not. I have a lot of ships from the original series to make next. Interesting thought, though! Thank you!
Any chance you'll be putting together a 'series production' version too?
Yep. I've done that in the past, but time for a new go!
I'm really waiting on the comparison shot of all the versions
I will ABSOLUTELY make one of those!
Think that will turn out really awesome.
scifieric manages to achieve that elusive feel of a physical object with his 3D model. THIS is what a genuine enhanced TOS would look like—what TOS could have looked like under the best of conditions of the time.
Santaman, you are most kind!
Wow! That is extremely kind of you! You're a talented artist, thank you for your very kind words!
Very hard to get “it” a certain look. There has to be warmth
Hm. Interesting comment. I'm intrigued and want to find out if you think I have or have not achieved that look. I do appreciate you looking in, in either case! Thank you!
I am hard-pressed to recall anyone who has gotten that look as close as you have. It’s like looking at a fresh new print.
