He's never been known to disappoint anybody yet.

As to cover artists, I'm more partial to the late Darrell Sweet, whose covers graced a number of ADF's HC novels, and Michael Herring, who did absolutely stunning cover paintings (mostly after Denslow and Neill illustrations) for the Ballantine/Del Rey MMPB editions of all the canonical Oz books, and (I understand) a number of the TPB editions of the deuterocanonical ones as well.

True story: When I first submitted the proposal to Pocket Books, it began with a note explaining that this was NOT to be considered a sequel to "Turnabout Intruder," but a whole new story that merely referenced a plot device from that episode.

"Spock's Brain" is a lot more fun and enjoyable than "Turnabout Intruder." It's not the worst episode by a long shot, it's just the most entertainingly bad episode.

There have been times that I was tempted to pitch a book about the life story of the giant Spock clone from "The Infinite Vulcan," but I knew Margaret would never go for it.
