Game TOS Episode Pitch Game

"Screaming in Digital" - Uhura and Sulu return from shore leave, to find an empty Enterprise. As they investigate what happened to the crew, they also have to deal with high pitch screams coming from the ship’s computer. They eventually piece together that the crew has been digitized and placed in the ship’s computer, and that this is their attempt at commutation. While Uhura makes efforts to communicated with the crew, Sulu must rely on his specialization in the sciences to find a way to reverse what was done to them.

Next episode - “Gilgamesh and Aga” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilgamesh_and_Aga)

“Gilgamesh and Aga” - The Enterprise is summoned to Avaren III when a Klingon force demands the planet surrender their leader, who must answer to them for crimes committed at a battle 25 years ago, or be blockaded from receiving supplies. Sent to mediate, Kirk attempts to get to the truth of the matter.

Next episode: "The Terrible Veil"

THE TERRIBLE VEIL

Chekov, this is the last straw. Whether or not it fell under the duties of your regular job or not, accidentally leaving in a still image of Kollos' opened box during a slide presentation for the viewscreen only leads to instant Bridge Gone Wild!!!!. Since the presentation was for all senior officers, you've simultaneously and instantly driven Kirky, Spocko, McC, Superscotty, Uhura, Sulu AND yourself into seven packs of unleashed mayhem which makes FURY ROAD look like ROMPER ROOM. Security chief Lou Wagner tries to break it all up before he's knocked unconscious. Now what are they going to do?

Kevin Riley to the rescue, assuming they can get the Enterprise right-side-up again. Perhaps injecting Riley with 500ccs of cordrazine might make it a fair fight. Where's that third damn alterative whenever you need it? It wasn't such a terrible veil when you think about it. I'd take the veil anyday instead of the slide. This episode fully explains Chekov's total absence during the animated series very effectively.

Next episode: WHICH ONE OF US LOVES THE MOST (from King Lear's deluded opening speech to his daughters)

"Which One Of Us Loves The Most" - Enterprise heads to Cranantis II where the planet's military leader is about to step down and leave one of his two very capable officers in command. When both men's attempts to vie for the job put the planet and its people in peril, Kirk decides to heal the rift by introducing a third option; himself! Kirk, with the leader's cooperation, "resigns" from Starfleet and takes the job, pulling ridiculous stunts that unify the candidates against him...perhaps to the point of taking his life. (Spoiler: he lives, natch.)

Next episode: "Permidia's Tower"

Permidia's Tower

The Enterprise finds an untouched world of vast resources, with a singular piece of architecture on its surface, a gigantic pyramid which they find houses an enormous population of people, living in impoverished and cramped conditions, who are forbidden to leave. They were relegated to it many thousands of years earlier, as a means to prevent their influence being of negative impact on the beautiful planet's resources, but their leaders had never envisioned the difficulties of having been left there for so long. Kirk is faced with the dilemma of adhering to the prime directive of leaving them to their life within, (which would also leave the planet's resources free to be claimed by Starfleet, & one particularly eager admiral, or to interfere with the struggling people's condition, such that they might inherit their own world's bounty, once & for all.

Next episode: The Mirroring

"The Mirroring" - An Enterprise landing party explores the wilderness of Gerra VI, only to be disturbed when the wildlife there seems to be mimicking the behavior of the crew members with increasing frequency and accuracy. This leads to false alarms of danger, luring people to peril when they come to the aid of what they believe to be crew in danger. Further, what happens when these mimics attempt to assume their copied person's life?

(Wanted to try a non-MU episode)

Next episode: "Curds and Whey"

"Curds and Whey"- On the planet Ariadne VII, the Enterprise has been called in to investigate attacks on a Federation Agricultural Colony. Colonists have disappeared, crops destroyed and equipment sabotaged, The colonists are frightened and some are calling for evacuation. The Federation has deemed the colony and the crops grown there to be a vital necessity for the sector. Kirk is instructed to maintain the colony by any and all means. Kirk is trapped between an unknown enemy and resentful hostile colonists.

Next Episode- "The Song Remains The Same"

"The Song Remains The Same"

300 Enterprise officers endlessly waiting for their first beamdowns get frustrated when Kirk, Spock and McCoy hog the entirety of fourth season missions. They storm Starbase Eight, seize the video monitors and make their case to give somebody else a chance for once. Kirk, Spock and McCoy beam over to break it up.

Next week: THE BOMA SUPREMACY (Galileo Seven antagonist reference)

"Boma*"While the Enterprise is conducting scientific surveys in a near by system, Uhura takes time to visit relatives on the Penda IV Colony, a world settled by humans from East and Central Africa. Primarily an agricultural world the colony is spread along rolling plains and grasslands in ranches and farms. Some colonists lead a nomadic existence tending herds of cattle brought from Earth.
When people and livestock go missing the colony organizes a hunting party to track down what ever beast has perpetrated this. Uhura feels something more is at play. She and the colonists find the missing people and livestock in an enclosure in a large rift valley. When they try to free them, they are thwarted by an unknown species native to the planet. Uhura must use her skill as a communicator to bridge the language gap between the colonists and natives before things turn violent.
On the Enterprise, the crew find a violent cosmic storm is headed towards Penda. They must try and contact the colony before disaster strikes.
On Penda, Uhura discovers that the natives have gathered the colonists and their livestock in the valley to protect them from the storm, which is a cyclic occurrence. The valley has elements in its rocks and soils that protect against the radiations the storm brings.

*Boma "A boma is a livestock enclosure, community enclosure, stockade, corral, small fort or a district governmentoffice, commonly used in many parts of the African Great Lakes region, as well as Central and Southern Africa. It is particularly associated with community decision making. The word originally may be from Bantuor Persian, and it has been incorporated into many African languages, as well as colonial varieties of English, French and German.(from Wikipedia)

Next Episode- "Milk Run"

"Milk Run" - While heading to Mulsus III, a trip which is usually fraught with peril, Enterprise hosts a team of observers who hope to reduce danger and increase efficiency for future ships headed that way, as there are hopes that the planet will become an important way station and defensive position. Kirk butts heads with the team leader, a former romantic rival for the affections of a girl who later died under the leader's command, something neither he nor Kirk have forgotten. The leader's pointed criticisms of Kirk's crew are just masquerading his own guilt over her death. Spock and McCoy weigh in about his motivations, naturally, and the logic/illogic of his methods, depending who you ask. When the Enterprise encounters scavengers who have set up a trap and are preying on ships heading this route, the leader demands Kirk head for the planet full speed ahead instead of confronting their attackers.

Next episode: "A Better Man Than I Am" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunga_Din)

A Better Man Than I Am- The Enterprise is in the R'Ha system, a part of the Albani Imperium a leading power in the sector, where Kirk and McCoy are attending a betrothal ceremony of an old friend from their days on the Farragut.*
The friend is Major K'dhar from the Albani Imperial Army. His bride to be is Deja, a member of the R'Hanee aristocracy. The Major was part of an officer exchange program with the Federation a decade ago. While they are glad to see their own friend they are shocked at disparity of R'hanee society. At the top are the Albani military and the wealthy R'hanee royalty. At the bottom are the Meks, robots who perform all menial tasks.
The Albani and the R'Hanee assure Kirk and McCoy that the Meks are just simple machines. They have no feelings or thoughts, they just serve. McCoy isn't so sure. He observes what appears to be sentient behavior in Meks, including Green, a Mek who serves the Regiment K'dhar is attached to, The Starfleet officers continue to participate in the betrothal celebrations, but their enthusiasm is somewhat dampered.
Out in space, the Enterprise under the command of Mr. Spock patrols Federation territory along the border it shares with the Albani Imperium and its regional rival the Gealish Republic. Noting a build up arms along the Albani-Gealish border, Spock in forms Starfleet and is instructed to retreat further into Federation territory to avoid inflaming either side. This effectively strands Kirk and McCoy on R'Ha.
As the Imperium gears up for war, fear and paranoia increase as R'Ha is closes to the border. Some of which is taken out on the Meks. McCoy and Kirk accompany K'dhar on a patrol with his regiment, which includes Green. They are ambushed by Gaelish advance forces who have set up a base in the mountains of R'ha's Northern Province. McCoy, K'dhar and Green are captured. Kirk and survivors make their way back to R'ha's capital, where Kirk is greeted by an anguished Deja. Albani patrols fan out but can find no trace of the Gealish troops or their base.
At the Gealish base, K'dhar is repeatedly beaten and tortured. McCoy, who was injured in the fire fight, is thus far spared. Possibly because he is a Federation officer. Green cares for both men, tending their wounds as best he can. McCoy, jokes that Green should have been a doctor. Green, responds with some sadness that is not possible for a Mek. K'dhar is astonished by the care and compassion Green is exhibiting.
Back at the capital Kirk and Deja are desperate to find McCoy and K'dhar. Kirk is scanning on all know Federation and Starfleet frequencies, but without luck. He also tries to contact the Enterprise and Starfleet, but can't get through. The Gealish have blockaded R'Ha and cut off communication. From their hidden base, the Gealish commandos conduct a series of hit and run operations on Albani strategic targets on B'ha.
On the Enterprise, Spock has requested permission to cross the Gealish line and retrieve Kirk and McCoy. The Federation refuses and informs Spock that the Federation Ambassadors to the Gealish Republic and the Albani Imperium are in active talks to ascertain the status of the Captain and doctor.
At the capital, a Gealish strike team conducts an assault on royal compound, Kirk and Deja fight off the strike team with the aid of several household Meks. Which puzzles Deja as it is not part of their programming.
In the prison cell at the hidden base Green comes up with a plan to signal the Albani forces. Using components found in Green's body, the prisoners construct a makeshift comm device, one that can only be used for a single short burst. They send out the signal, but in doing so Green is destroyed from the overload. Something Green knew that would happen.
Albani forces receive the signal and pinpoint the Gealish base. They take the base and free McCoy and K'dhar. In space, the Federation finally decides to intervene and helps the Albani forces break the blockade.
In the aftermath, Kirk and McCoy say their good byes to K'dhar and Deja who have to reconsider the role of Meks in their society.
