Hey Ya'll,
I don't know if this was ever posted here or not, however as I was looking for some reference footage for planning my animations this morning (while waiting for a test render to finish), I stumbled upon this little gem...video of The Smithsonian's restoration of the original model. I have to truly say that I wish I had of found it myself earlier on in my own little animation project....
There are some REALLY great shots of the model in this video that should make a wonderful reference for those who do various TOS art projects. It's also a wonderful video in and of itself for old TOS junkies like myself...it's very pleasing to see they're taking care of our grand ol' lady. :-)
Anyways...again I wish I had of found this myself, so hopefully others will get some good use out of this video for their own art projects!
Enjoy!
