Pre-pandemic, I made it to every Toronto con and Fan Expo there. I live about 4 hours away so it wasn't a bad trip at all and I had a blast every single time, been doing that for well over a decade now. But I'm just not ready for those crowds again, feels too soon still. Fingers crossed for next year, but my world is certainly a different one to me still.
Check in with me when you feel comfortable with it. I'll probably be set up for a guest or two by next year. (I've got a lot of junk in the back rooom to deal with.) I'm ten minutes from the convention centre and we have guest parking.
It's back to Aug 25-28. I think last year was because of the lock-down ending/pausing in Aug. So many lock -downs going on and off, they have become vague to me though.
Gosh, I miss Toronto Trek. Lots of things to do and not all about selling stuff. Though the last time I was there in 2001 I didn't spend much time at the con, partly because my wife wasn't into it, even though she'd gone there on her own once or twice before we met.
