I'm quite worried about the "women" you guys have been associating with if you think that thing looked anything like a vagina. You guys haven't just been sticking your dicks in rock formations have you?

Well that was kinda interesting, and at least we know why the Chinese guy jumped off a building a few weeks back!

Does seem odd that they're gonna wrap this up in just one episode now!

I think the problem with Miracle Day compared to COE, is that in COE, even if you accepted the logic of having to hand over kids, you still felt the need to rail against it, but in this case all the category 1's they show us are essentially dead, did Gwen's dad really have any quality of life? He's just a vegetable in a cellar. It's all very well making vague references to people being made cat 1 who weren't, but show don't tell!

And Danes' story seems to have gone haywire now.

Miracle Day reminds me of those stories where you write a paragraph then pass it on to someone else who writes the next paragraph and so on and so forth.

And yet it is curiously watchable. I'm glad Rhy got to be useful again at least!

The thing is, they're not essentially dead. Maybe the heart attack would have killed her father, maybe he would have survived it. He's certainly warm and breathing, just weak and unhealthy. Now maybe he was misdiagnosed and shouldn't be there, but the fact is, they're still burning living people.

Although the biggest problems with the Miracle aren't necessarily the government ones. The shittiness of society as a whole is something that needs to be reset.

I felt it was very contrived how Danes got to tag along with them to China. Suddenly he's in their apartment. Then, he's going with them to China. Why? Because Rhys couldn't not kill the guy. A simple request from Gwen would've solved that problem. "Please don't kill him so I can go to China without having to worry about what he'll do to our mission." Rhys would've complied I'm sure for Gwen's safety.

Because they worked so hard to get Danes in the resolution. I predict he'll play a large role. He's not just along for the ride.

Request from Gwen or not, Rhys would have killed Danes if he'd been left with him for any length of time. Danes is adept at provoking people, and Rhys is easy to provoke.

Of course who knows what's gonna happen in the finale (guess we'll find out in about 8-9 hours when the first reports from the US start hitting the BBS) but I'm really hoping Jack and Gwen aren't last men standing after all of this. They took a few weeks to really click, but I'd like to see Rex and Esther stay on for Series 5. And if the show relocates to the US full-time, I'm all for John DeLancie staying on as Torchwood's (reluctant and snarky) boss. Yeah, I know, it would Americanize the show to the Nth degree - but, John DeLancie as Torchwood's boss! With the associated possibility of him one day encountering The Doctor. C'mon...you know ya want it! ;)

Nah, Rhys would've promised to keep Danes alive if it meant that Gwen didn't have to deal with him on a dangerous mission. Very contrived.

I kind of hope that this is the last season of Torchwood.

yah... no. I don't want it. I'm still hoping Rex drops dead when the Miracle goes away. The only reason he has been tolerable these last few episodes is because he's mostly been in the background.

This has been an awful series. I can't imagine i would be back for the next one.

I like Esther and Rex, but Rex is still too closely tied to the CIA, which is a problem.

I do think they need to have more than two people returning and a bunch of new people. They need Torchwood as Torchwood, not as two people seeking the help of others.

He seems to be pretty much braindead...

And it isn't about the shittiness of society. This is an unparrallelled situation. If this were to happen for real I think eventually even the kindest and most liberal of people would start endorsing acts that would have appeared heinous not so long ago. Society would collapse otherwise.

He doesn't seem brain dead to me. He's stirred and moaned, he's just not conscious.

I have to agree this season overall has sucked. It really does feel like a committee wrote this thing. I can't imagine this has been a huge hit for starz. The acting and tone also has been all over the
Place.

A committee? A committee TALKS to each other. I would have LOVED it if a committee had written this thing.

The two month gap thing was too long, and created false jeopardy. Any real reason given as to why? As die from giving Danes time to get to the UK?
