I want to see how everyone feels about the performances by regular actors on the series? Let's assume both main cast (credited in the theme song) as well as the regularly appearing characters. This is because in DS9 and DIS (plus a bit on TNG) we have some characters who show up regularly, or even in every episode, who don't end up on the main credits.
It's not about how you like or dislike the character, but about how well they perform.
TOS:

Nimoy just got all the great lines, and so did De. Shatner had to do all the heavy lifting, though.
TNG:

4. Whoopi Goldberg
5. John DeLancie
Very tempted to swap out DeLancie for Michelle Forbes. I chose these actors because they got the most to work with, and showed a lot of character depth with their performances.
DS9:

2. Avery Brooks
3. Nana Visitor
4. Colm Meany
5. Rene Auberjonois
So much good stuff here. Very hard to put this one together.
VOY:
1. Jeri Ryan
2. Kate Mulgrew
3. Roxann Biggs-Dawson
4. Jennifer Lien
5. Tim Russ
Not a lot of great material here. Ryan does amazing with what she's given, and even though Janeway was not great, Kate Mulgrew did so much to keep the show going. I thing RBD is just underrated. In that one episode where Kes gets possessed by a male warlord JL really shows off her chops. Tim Russ is a gem.
ENT:

I really am not that big of a fan. Phlox is awesome, and so is Shran. Park desrved better than she got

You never see the prosthetics. You only see Saru. The best performance on the show by a country mile. Rapp is always fun to watch.Coutts and Oladejo deserve way more screen time than they get.
