Top 3 Favorite Non-Trek Spaceships

Well, if we're doing cars in space, I'm going add this one to my list of honorable mentions.

Heavy Metal | Soft Landing | Corvette 1959

Speaking of projects involving Dan O'Bannon, I'd also like to add for honorable mention

the scout ship Dark Star,

and, even though it never flew on screen (in that film), the derelict ship from the original Alien certainly deserves a shout-out.

Well, if everybody else is doing their runners up:

1. Defiant-DS9
2. Pegasus -NuBSG
3. Akira-ST
4. Andromeda- SBY

Oh ok never watched that.
Rather good, sort of a sequel (2069 is four years after the original, Jeff is believed dead, Tintin has grown out of her teenage nickname and is now know as Kayo - copyright maybe being a big point in that - and the Hood has been inactive for years...) but also a reboot (Grandma is now an ex-spy who knows all about it. Gordon isn't old enough to drive). Other Anderson series get passing references (Stingray is in TB4's waterpen, Shadow Moonbase Alpha mixes the UFO and 1999 designs).
Largely recast (Lee Majors voices Jeff in flashbacks), but David Graham still voices Parker and Braiman.

Oh that reboot, still no haven't seen it but have heard about it. Is it true there's tons of little easter eggs like a hand holding the model of Thunderbird 1 to stop it falling over and such, I read something about little gags like that on the show.

I have this theory that the Engineers designed it to look like a near Abrahamic font…a 3D glyph they used for death….the saucer at the beginning of PROMETHEUS being a standard craft.

Now—I liked the Snark concept better than the Nostromo it became.

Jodo’s Dune book just sold..nice ship art there.

In terms of the TIE fighter, one concept I had in mind would be the Empire’s answer for the B-Wing. Looking at the bow of the fighter, it would look like the weather symbol for a hurricane…the solar panel arms curved and rotating around the central cockpit of the T.I.E. Phun.
