So, it's time to jump into the 'Imaging Chamber' and...vanish into my favorite top 10 'leaps.'

What are your favorite 'leaps?"

Shock Theater: Personally wish they had switched it around for a few episodes, with Sam as the observer, would have been very interesting.

I love this show and watched the series over the winter. I have to agree with your yop ten for the most part, but theres also the Haloween episode with fake Stephen King. The one with real Brook Shields. The Vietnam one with Sams Brother and Al bieng captured. This show was my favorite show growing up, I liked it better than Star Trek at times.

Quantum Leap is my favorite non-Trek scifi series.

'Genesis' (September 13, 1956)
- Sam makes his first leap into a test pilot to save an unborn child.

'M.I.A.' (April 1, 1969)
- Al tries to use Sam's leap to save his first marriage

'The Leap Home, Part One' (November 25, 1969)
- Sam leaps into himself as a teenager in Elk Ridge, Indiana.

'The Leap Home, Part Two' (April 7, 1970)
- Sam leaps into his brother Tom's unit in Vietnam.

'Eight and a Half Months' (November 15, 1955)
- Sam leaps into a very pregnant teenager and can feel the baby.

'Shock Theater' (October 3, 1954)
- Electroshock therapy causes Sam to relive previous leaps while in a mental institution.

'The Leap Back' (June 15, 1945)
- Sam and Al switch places, makin' Al the Leaper and Sam the Observer.

'Raped' (June 20, 1980)
- Sam leaps into a rape victim and exacts justice for her when the rapist is found not quilty.

'A Leap for Lisa' (June 25, 1957)
- Sam leaps into Al as a young fighter pilot & changes history to where Al was found guilty of murder & got the gas chamber.

'Trilogy, Parts One, Two & Three' (August 8, 1955/June 14, 1966/July 28, 1978)
- Sam leaps into three men at three points to help Abigail Fuller.

In no particular order, though I think I have earlier episodes listed first.

1. Genesis

2. The Honeymoon Express

3. The Leap Home

4. The Boogieman

5. Shock Theater

6. The Leap Back (Second that they should have kept the roles reversed for at least a few episodes)

7. Killin' Time

8. Another Mother (Hey, I like it, though the scenes of the blacked out truck felt dumb even after I knew what was going to happen)

9. The Evil Leaper Episodes

10. Trilogy

What are your favorite 'leaps?"

Oddly enough, those are the exact same episodes listed in exactly the same order that appear in The Greatest Sci-Fi TV Programmes of all time magazine.

Rewatched seasons 1 and 2 recently and really enjoyed:

Good Morning, Peoria
Rock 'n' roll is about to become big, but not in Peoria. That is, unless Sam, as DJ Howlin' Chick Howell, can manage to keep the radio station where he's employed from being shut down by overly conservative town elders.
Just a real funny episode!

Double Identity
Though his goal as a mafia hitman named Frankie is unclear, Sam follows a list of instructions, supplied by Ziggy in an effort to bring Sam back to the Project. These instructions result in the Great East Coast Blackout and, rather than leaping home, Sam finds himself in the life of the mafia don who's been jealously preventing a romance between Frankie and the don's girlfriend. Sam believes he knows his mission, and publicly announces Frankie's marriage to the girlfriend, putting himself in a position to call a winning Bingo number.
Hilarious episode including Scott Bakula singing an Italian song at a wedding (remember the Godfather?).

Also really loved a couple of others (including The Colour of Truth) but these 2 stuck out for their sheer entertainment value.

I'm not enough of a Quantum Leap fan to know episode names, but I like:

- the one with all the ECT
- the one where Al and Sam swap places
- the one with the fallout shelter and the Cuban Missile Crisis
- the ones with the evil leaper
- the last one
- the one where he has two (three!) wives
- the one in Vietnam
- the one where he's a kid on holiday with his family
- the one where he leaps into the electric chair

(apologies for the Friends-esque TOW titling, but I was too lazy to look up the proper names)
