News TOMY Star Trek Diecast Ship Replicas

I'd be happy if they just sold removable stickers of some sort that you could swap on and off for "battle damage." I think there would be a good market for that!
It is easy to remove them.

No way! I want all the damage in 3 dimensions so I see and feel all of Khan's Wrath!!

I finally got mine today. The box is bigger than expected. I mentally imagined if I have 8 boxes of this, in a 4x2 stack… That would be roughly the size of the box for a 1:350 Enterprise-D OMG!!! That would be a studio model size OMFG!!!

“Jim, if my calculations are correct, there are 5,992 starship Enterprises being delivered by the North America campaign alone…”

For Generations, they just added thin strips of low tack black tape to the stardrive section!

There is a guy on ebay that makes custom stickers/decals for Eaglemoss ships, but he will scale them to whatever size you want.

What you could do is print your own on static cling film so as not to damage the model. Or adhere the decals to the static cling paper and then cut them out to place onto your model. There should be no damage to the kit, but not sure how well they will hold on.

I got my Enterprise back out of the box this evening, to check the paint and lighting a bit closer than I had time to the other day, and snapped a few photos. This thing looks pretty good under low light.

How many of you hummed or played the Jerry Goldsmith's TMP main title when unboxing this ship? I will admit I hummed it. This ship is absolutely awesome. I am very happy with it. There is some light bleed on the port side saucer red blinking light above the docking port. There’s nothing I can really do about it. But this is the best Enterprise in my collection by a few light years.

Wow. No light leaks on yours. 👍

I'm not surprised someone made that - I could never understand why Tomy didn't build that into the stand themselves!
